A son of an artist, Roger Milinowski grew up in a cultured family who nurtured an appreciation of the arts and great artists. As a child, he drew and painted constantly, seeking the unspoiled nature of the deep woods surrounding his home near the New England coast. His love of creating artworks lead him to a career in industrial arts, exposing him to all of the two and three dimensional artforms. An accomplished sculptor in clay, wax, and bronze, Milinowski now spends much of his time outdoors, painting the seaports and marine environments of New England and South Carolina. Roger loves the historic charm of a time gone by when the world was less cluttered and more serene.
A formally trained industrial designer and art director, Milinowski has been an artist all of his life. He has traveled in America and abroad gathering a library of unique photographic subjects, which are used as reference material for his compositions. Both of his two and three-dimensional works have received numerous awards and are found in private and corporate collections throughout the world.
Over the years, Milinowski's artwork has been exhibited in galleries and art shows in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and New York City.
